Ashley’s World fetishizess millenial feminist spirituality and critiques white neoliberal feminism while engaging with it in a humorous manner. The vibrant and exaggerated space she lives in is an external mirror of her psyche, filled with imaginary voices and figures which take on tangible reality. We meet Ashley’s angel guide whom she speaks to through a locker, a British narrator, and 90’s themed pillows, as viewers are plunged into the bubblegum fantasy world that belongs to Ashley.
